  It really works!
Terri Hanauer's book, The Party, is a brilliant road map to finding one's perfect partner. As one of the early participants in Terri's parties, I can also testify that the parties work! I met my husband at one of Terri's parties and have been happily married ever since! This book will show you how easy and fun it can be to throw one of these parties yourself.   DOABLE and positive way to be proactive!

  Fun, Practical, Brilliantly Thoughtful
What a wonderful book! I think we can all speak to how exhausting online dating is. The modern dating scene feels like a warzone, especially in big cities. Not only is the idea of The Party exciting and fun, but the recipes are accessible, the party games are inspiring and actually bring about good conversation, and the anecdotes throughout the book are bright and thoughtful and funny. The Party The Book makes a great gift, and I genuinely think that if we all started throwing The Party that the world would be a better place.   Terri being Jenny
Terri Hanauer played a character named Jenny Aronson on the TV show Beauty and the Beast from 1987-1990. This book sounds exactly like something her character would do for her friends, to help play matchmaker. Found it very enjoyable and easy to read. Ideas seemed very easy to put into action.   Who needs dating apps when you now have this book?
Kudos to the wise, clever and inspiring book "The Party: How to Have Fun While Finding True Love." I mean, if that title doesn't wake up a few love-seekers, what will? It's a funny, well-detailed, step-by-step guide (recipes and games included!) to throwing parties to bring singles together and maybe find love in the process. Terri writes from experience as well as the experiences of others who've found romance in likely and unlikely ways, complete with lots of warm, personal anecdotes.   What a Fun and Original Idea!
Terri Hanauer's The Party is a read in one sitting and then go back and read it again kind of book! Her methodical and fun way to find True Love feels like it can't miss! And if it does on the first try, do it again. At least you will be having fun meeting new people and making connections each time.Whereas I wouldn't wish to be single again, reading this guide made me want to throw a party! All of Terri's ideas could be incorporated into any party, and it would be memorable and bring joy.
